Introduction
Bermula dari sebentuk idealisme yang mencoba untuk terus mempertahankan eksistensi dari sebuah “underground culture”, dan termotivasi oleh kecintaannya akan musik punk dan hardcore, maka pada pertengahan 2007, dengan didukung oleh teknologi informasi, lahirlah sebuah gagasan untuk membuat wadah di dunia maya menggunakan brand dengan nama Punkride ini.
Pada awal berdirinya brand yang mengusung tema independent movement adalah sebagai media untuk berbagi info tentang musik, band, album, yang sebagian besar adalah indie. banyak band-band keren luar maupun dalam negri yang mempunyai kualitas baik skill, lirik maupun dari musik keseluruhannya, tapi kurang di kenal di dalam negri sendiri, dengan alasan inilah punkride memberanikan diri untuk membuat sebuah gebrakan, dengan tujuan untuk lebih mengenalkan ke banyak audience.
Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, punkride juga semakin berbenah, kini punkride tak hanya berisi info tentang band punk ataupun hardcore saja, melainkan bermacam-macam genre dari scene undergroud music, yang saat ini juga telah hadir dalam bentuk eMagz, dan kedepannya punkride akan menambah icon seperti merchandise dan clothing.
Punkride, didedikasikan untuk underground culture dan gerakan indie Indonesia dan seluruh negara dibelahan bumi ini!!
